As a leaf falls, it does not follow a straight path down like a ball or a sack of flour. The weightlessness of the leaf causes it to meet with more air resistance, which gives it a slower sway through the air before it finally comes to rest. Explore how weight influences motion in this workshop as you use timing and spacing to create your own short animation of a leaf floating to the ground.
