Join instructors Youri Dekker and Ryan Eways as they explain the making of their independent film, The Blue and the Beyond (2015). Dekker and Eways will use their personal experiences to break down their production stages in this six-week lecture-based workshop. Students will also learn about story development, how to professionally pitch their ideas, recruiting artists, the animation pipeline, and what it takes to create an original, independent film without a studio.

This class will consist of lectures with some activities on how to get started creating an animated film independently and does not result in students making a completed film project.
